Prince of Tennis

I was wallowing in a fandomless void. Again (see: due South). It was getting dire. Fortunately, my friends have excellent taste, and said, "ames, dude, check out Prince of Tennis, you will love it." And I do! I love the team dynamic, I love the crazy magical tennis (sometimes complete with DISCO LIGHTS), and I love the characters most of all. The show, as cracked out as it is, fairly bursts with heart. When Oishi and Eiji fight, it hurts. When Fuji demolishes an opponent on the court, it's thrilling and a little bit scary. Inui's Penal-Tea, Echizen's bratty sassy attitude, all of them make me so very very happy that I embraced anime years ago.

Yeah. It's a new fandom for me. And I should note that pairing order on these pages isn't indicative of anything, for those of you who come from animanga fandoms. Enjoy!
