Those Fuji Brothers

I think my other favorite pairing, and I mean that in the sense of "a story featuring these two characters" has got to be the Fuji brothers. Their relationship is complex and complicated, but I think the strongest most powerful thread that runs through all the stories is this: the most important person in Syuusuke's life is Yuuta. Which means that the person who causes Syuusuke the most pain and brings him the most joy is Yuuta. And I'm not entirely convinced that Yuuta realizes this. I think it's that love, that deep-down committment to another person that makes this pairing so compelling. Fujicest or gen, I can't stay away.
