You Got the Stones?

Challenges! Gloveslaps! Strange, weird stories that run the gamut from hysterically funny to deeply sad! It's all here, in "You Got the Stones?", a faintly insane and totally fun archive.

YGTS is comprised of twenty writers, and only twenty writers (although everyone is invited to sign up for the mailing list). Challenges are accepted from the world at large, and the results can be surprising. My favorite section, however, is "Gloveslaps", where the writers challenge each other to step out of their comfort zone. Someone only writes S/B and hates Riley? Ha - she gets gloveslapped with a pro-Riley fic. Someone else has never written songfic (and yay for that) - no more. Songfic it is.

The site looks marvelous, and you can see that the members are having a great time. I especially appreciate the lighter tone of the site - I tend to focus on darkfic for obvious reasons, so it's a great little vacation to play here.
