Pablo

If I ever end up liking Fred, it's not going to be a result of anything Greenwalkt and his crew have done. The thanks will go entirely to authors like Pablo, who have managed to take a character that I find completely annoying and give her depth and weight.

In "Burying the Shadow", Fred goes back to the university library and tries to reconnect with our world. Everything is both familiar and strange, and there's a definite sense that she knows that she's the one who has changed, not the world. It's bittersweet and beautiful. If only those Angel scribes could make me like her this much.
