Faith went to prison to atone, to repent, to pay for the brutalities she inflicted. At the end of "Judgment" she seemed to be adapting as well as could be considered, and discussed the rocky road to redemption with Angel.

So, what happens when she gets out? Where does she go? Scores to settle, apologies to make, almost-friendships to restore... her paths are myriad and varied. In "Ghost Guessed", Faith isn't exactly thrilled to be back on the outside. She's pissed, frankly. Her chance to pay for her deeds seems to have been ripped out from underneath her, and why? Because she obeyed the rules. And there are other factors at play, other reasons why jail was safer.

It's Faith at her best, gritty and vulnerable.
