James Walkswithwind

The older version of this site had these nifty author graphics, where phrases from the story were over- and underlayed with the author's name. It was nifty (but a heckuva lot of work). When I made the author graphics, I looked for phrases that stand out, that have a certain weight, or meaning important to the overall theme of the story. However, I had a particularly hard time with James' title graphic. Not because there were no strong sentences or phrases. Quite the contrary. James writes so tightly and seamlessly that to pick out merely a few choice phrases is nearly impossible. It was a delightful challenge, believe me.

This is a story of a man made desperate by circumstance, but who still holds his pride. Perhaps the wrong kind of pride. To say too much would be to ruin it - just know that it is about Wesley, and that it was so good, so freaking real that I wholeheartedly believed it.
