A recent plea on the BetterBuffyFics mailing list for stories about minor characters yielded up this gem of a story by HonorH. "Aurora" is all about the monk who told Buffy that Dawn was The Key. HonorH has given him a name (!) and some beautiful backstory. He has depth and personality, and the characterization melds beautifully with the way he was portrayed on-screen. The images of the Key, pre-Dawn, are simply gorgeous.
