Flywoman
Post-finale stories are de rigeur in the fanfiction world. Some are good, some are great, and some, like this, are excellent. "Suttee" is a Spike POV in the aftermath of "The Gift". Spike speaks of his despair with an almost clinical detachment that is heartbreaking. The simplicity and brevity of this story belie Spike's obvious emotional anguish. It's a story of those who are left behind - those who loved.
