Amy
Quick warning: this story contains major spoilers for Season Six Buffy.
Let me say it now, I love Amy's writing. Her stories are tight and clear, without being simplistic, and her character studies never fail to shed a little light on those who we think we know so well.
"Getting Lost" (excellent title) seems perfectly timed with my adoration for this season's Buffy/Spike Whatever-it-is-that-they're-doing storyline. The glimpse into Buffy's mind rings true - and would explain her actions at the end of Tabula Rasa. She doesn't love Spike. She doesn't much like him. But she needs him, for reasons that she can't explain and doesn't want to look at too closely. In a fandom that doesn't as a whole seem to really like the titular character, it's nice to see Buffy treated with respect.
